Quartz Crystal Microbalance with Dissipation Monitoring (QCM-D) is a nanomechanical, acoustic-based analytical technique that provides in situ analysis of interactions and reactions taking place at the surface or within numerous types of materials. The QCMD sensor can be coated with the surface of interest during or at the start of an experiment to study a wide range of materials ranging from polymers, proteins, nanoparticles to metals and ceramics.
